Katharine Bacigalupi

Born and raised on the same ranch purchased by her grandparents, Katey recognized her love of the vineyards and living in the country as a young girl. After high school Katey took off to explore the world and found herself studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Her appreciation for her own Italian heritage and culture was stimulated from this trip as well as her love of travel.

Back in the US,  Katey applied and was accepted to Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo. With their “learn by doing” teaching philosophy Katey continued to discover her interest in wine and viticulture.  Graduating with a degree in Agricultural Business Katey returned home to help her family build and grow the John Tyler brand.  Now with a plethora of responsibilities ranging from accounting to sales to driving tractors and pulling leaves during harvest, she helps to do it all. Katey strives to carry on the legacy that her grandparents started as premium wine growers and now premium wine producers in the Russian River Valley.
